Dr. Gustavo A. Grieco, M.D.,F.A.C.C.
Dr. Grieco earned his M.D. at Central University of Venezuela. He
served his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Good
Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. He served his Cardiology
Fellowship at St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital-Baylor College of
Medicine. Dr. Grieco is certified by the American Board of Internal
Medicine with specialization in the field of Cardiology. He is a
Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, and serves on the
staff of Houston Northwest Medical Center and St. Luke's Episcopal
Hospital. Dr. Grieco is an avid runner and athlete who understands
and practices the disciplines of a "Heart healthy lifestyle." If you

Jack
E. Jensen, M.D., F.A.C.S.M. is a board-certified
orthopedic surgeon and medical director of Athletic Orthopedics
and Knee Center, an integrated health care plaza specializing in
the care of knees. After performing as a collegiate athlete, Dr.
Jensen attended medical school at Kansas University. He completed
his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Texas, and
then went on to receive further training with some of the leading
pioneers in the field at the University of Oregon, where he
completed a fellowship in sports medicine. Dr. Jensen, who has been
distinguished with the title Fellow of the American College of
Sports Medicine, has worked his sports medicine wares at the
Goodwill Games, the World Championships of Gymnastics, the U.S.
Olympic Training Center, and the Olympic Games. He has also served
as orthopedic consultant to the United States Gymnastic Federation,
team physician to Karolyi’s Gymnastics, the USA Swimming Foundation,
the Association of Tennis Professionals, and orthopedic physician to
numerous Olympic and professional athletes. Dr. Jensen has worked
with the Houston Rockets, the Houston Astros, The Houston Oilers,
the Houston Texans, Cirque du Soleil, Houston Wranglers Tennis, The
US Clay Court Tournament, The Masters Cup, and has served as Team
Physician for the Missouri Tigers. Dr. Jensen is a member of the
American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine, a member of the
U.S. Olympic Sports Medicine Society, a Fellow of the American
Academy of Sports Physicians. A former associate editor of Medicine
and Science in Sports and Exercise, he has co-authored numerous
scientific articles in peer-reviews publications, a book for
athletes and gymnasts, A Healthy 10!, and a book all
about knees, The One Stop Knee Shop.
The
Institute of Sports Psychology was created with two primary
areas of focus in mind; 1) to help the injured athlete overcome the
mental, emotional, and spiritual trauma associated with sports
related injuries, and 2) to enhance peak athletic performance by
strengthening the heart, mind and spirit of the athlete. The
Institute’s founder and director, Robert Andrews, M.A., has
woven his passion for sports and experience as an athlete, together
with 18 years of experience in personal empowerment. He has created
